We cover camp fees so more Georgia juniors can spend a week at an FCA Golf Georgia summer camp.
FCA Golf Georgia Camps
Fellowship of Christian Athletes Golf Georgia runs three summer golf camps for juniors: one at Berry College in Rome, one at Reynolds Lake Oconee, and one on St. Simons Island. Campers stay on site for five days and play the courses of the week with instruction from PGA professionals.
We chose FCA Golf Georgia because its camps pair golf with faith-based guidance. We want Georgia's juniors to have what golf has given us: competition, friendships, memories and the chance to be part of something bigger than themselves.
Why We Do This
Everyone on our Board has spent a lifetime in Georgia golf. Our Executive Director was the state high school champion in 1971. Our Board Chair has taught the game for more than forty years. One of our directors co-founded the Reynolds Senior Amateur, an event that benefits junior golf in Georgia. Another built a chip-and-putt course to bring new players into the game. We know what the game gave us. We want the next generation to have it too.
Georgia has a golf history worth knowing and a generation of juniors who deserve to be part of it. The camps are where we can help most.
Camp Scholarships
We pay most or all of a camper's camp fee. A scholarship committee sets the criteria and chooses the campers. Our first goal is a foursome at each of FCA Golf Georgia's three camps in 2027, two girls and two boys per camp. That is twelve juniors in our first summer. We want to send more.

Today thousands of Georgia's junior golfers are falling in love with competitive golf and they deserve to know who came before them. They need to know who built Georgia's rich golf history of which they are striving to become a part.
